Players: Jaime Ryees and Traci Thirteen! <3 Location(s): El Paso, Local~ Plot Summary: Jaime Reyes and his lovely girlfriend, Traci decide to have a little date. It's a regular night for the most part, save for the monster stomping around through El Paso. Who says a monster meant the date was off?
Well, this was something he had not done in a while. Worrying about school and his local job, Jaime had not really focused on one of the most important people in his life, Traci 13. Every now and then he'd try to call her and do a little catching up, but with hero duties and trying to ace school, it was becoming more and more difficult for them to hang out and do a casual date.
Today, Jaime decided it would be best for them to finally have that date. They've waited long enough. He wanted to see her again. It had been way too long. He had called her a few hours ago, asking if she wanted to come to El Paso and Jaime would take her out for a lovely night in the town. She accepted and it was up to Jaime to show her a good time. He felt guilty for not being able to see her for so long. But she was busy as well. The fact that they both had the time to go out together on their own without superhero duties, it was almost like a miracle.
Though, with it being as long as it had been since he last hung out with her, the oddities of nerves started to boil in his gut. Did he look alright? Should he shave a little bit? Maybe he's overdressed. All these random thoughts circled in his head. The young man was not sure where the night planned to go, but he wanted to spend all the time he could with her. Being able to catch up and talk to one another face to face was exiting to him. He missed her company.
The young man stood around the house. His hands all fidgety as he cleaned up some glasses and put some drink coasters away in their proper stands. "Okay, she'll be here any minute now..." He mumbled to himself as a reminder. Looking around for anything, his eyes caught sight of his little sister, Milagro peeking from her bedroom door. "Hey! Get back in there! Adults only!" The young girls' expression glared. "I'm an adult!" She argued. Sighing, Jaime waved a hand to her. "Go and watch your My Little Ponies or whatever. You're throwing off my groove!" He teased with a grin.
With an irritated huff and a funny face given, Milagro retreated back into the darkness of her room. Sighing, Jaime fixed up his shirt collar and waited around for Traci. He wasn't' sure if she'd teleport outside, or somehow make her way into the house. He paced between the front door and the back door, peaking out from the windows to see if she was here or now.
"Any minute now..."

A date.. A date? Was it an actual date like one would find in the midst of a television sitcom.. or were they just gonna goof around texas for a spell before parting ways. Now she wouldn't mind either honestly.. but she had to decide on what to wear. Recently she had devolved into her metal phase and her outlook had changed to match. 5 earrings in each ear, a stud on her tongue and one in her belly button. Dark, torn clothes and half of her hair had been shaved off. As she bowled around her dugout, looking for something to change into, she kept going over her appearance. Should she care how she looked? Would Jaime's mom be there.. She had two outfits in her hands. One was a classic for her, oversized shirt with a spiked belt to keep it from billowing all over the place. Pair of trainers and a headband for her.. no longer existent hair. Aww... she remembered this outfit actually.
This was on their first, super powered date. Yeah, bunk the other outfit. She swapped into the less.. well sluttish would be the operative term, outfit and ran her palms over her semi-bald head. Zēngzhǎng She exhaled as her follicles caught a bright shade of red. She turned towards her mirror and watched, with a smile, as her hair started flowing freely from her scalp, growing and growing until it matched the side of her head still with hair. Pulling the original side out of it's scrunchie confines, her hair fell back over her shoulders and came to rest at the small of her back. Better safe than sorry. Sliding the headband on, she grabbed her staff from it's stand and slammed it into the ground. What do you think, Leroy? Retro.. but not too retro for me to be a hipster? She looked down at her iguana, who just hssssk'd back up at her.
As always, my friend.. you are a wealth of both information and confidence. Don't tear up the joint.. and don't bring any girls over. I'll be back.. uhhh sometime tomorrow. She smiled and thought about just what that meant. She kind of hoped that Mrs. Reyes.. wasn't in town. Closing her eyes, she blinked away from her home and traveled through time and space before reappearing in the middle of a room somewhere. She let out a sharp exhale and looked around cautiously. She had Jaime's house in mind when she teleported... Spinning around, she heard a pair of familiar voices near her. Oh.. so her teleporting abilities were much more refined than she originally thought. Stepping forward, she tapped the young girl on her shoulder, who spun around and swept her into a hug. Adults only... pssh. Money says we're going to play Mini Golf or something. I'll bring you something.
She stepped around Milagro and into the main house. Wow.. it had been a looong time since she was even here. It still smelled the same... an odd mix of rust, oranges and.. whatever it was Jaime smelled like. Even Leroy couldn't narrow it down to something.. specific. Striding into the kitchen, she opened one of his cabinets and pulled out a thing of cookies. She had a weak spot for these sugar ones.. and he thought he could hide them from her. Scooping up a few, she made her way over to the front door, where he was peering outside... probably awaiting her arrival. She knew she couldn't exactly sneak up on him.. not with Khaji Da on defense. So she just cleared her throat and popped a cookie in her mouth. Hey there, Hero. How goes the day?
A smile crept across her face as she awaited his response. This was good. No craziness, no drama.. just a nice date with her boyfriend.
