- With the DC Universe currently rebooted/revamped what things, if any, can we expect to see from the DCnU bleed over into the SaS universe?
The first thing you should know is that Serenity and Strife takes place pre-Flashpoint, just before everything was rebooted. Now before we discuss what from the DCnU applies to SaS, here's some things that separate SaS from the DCnU-
- The mantle of Batman is currently held by Dick Grayson
- While Bruce Wayne is back in the present but not acting Batman; Bruce is currently globe-trotting laying the ground work for Batman Inc
- Batgirl is Stephanie Brown, Cass Cain is currently Black Bat
- Red Hood is current leader of the government sanctioned Outsiders
- Cyborg is still a Teen Titan (on reserve)
- The JSA are canonically the first superhero team; currently led by Alan Scott
- Barbara Gordon is Oracle (and in a wheel chair), leader of the Birds of Prey
- Ryan Choi is dead and so Ray Palmer is once again The Atom, working strictly in a semi-active advisory role.
- Barry Allen is retired. Wally West is the current Flash
- New Krypton has NOT been destroyed
- Nothing and no one from the Wildstorm universe exists here. There are circumstances that may change this in the future
- The Legion of Superheroes are still in the 31st century
Now as for what SaS will share in common with the DCnU
- New characters from the DCnU may exist here; i.e. Teen Titan Bunker
- Costumes from the DCnU may be used (not mandatory though)
