Connor has taken over Dinah’s former duties at the “Sherwood Florist” in Star City and has added a tea-shop/meditation center to it as well. He is also a full-time vigilante.

Connor is a compassionate and forgiving person who has become the way he is because of experience and his constant need to better himself. Seeing as he is the bastard son of Oliver Queen he is far from perfect. However when he was young he realized the error of his ways and as a result has always strived to become the name Oliver could never be. Many believe that Connor is a peaceful person. That is not necessarily the case. He is just a man that seeks an alternate alternative to violence though if you push him hard enough he will respond in a physical manner. This is reflected in his mastery of “Aikido”. As a vigilante he puts his life on the line everyday but he would much rather save a child from a burning building than brutally beat a group of thugs. That being said Connor does have a vicious temper that comes out if his loved ones are threatened or put in danger. Like his father he has a snarky sense of wit.
Connor Hawke views the “no killing rule” as a guideline rather than an actual rule. While he would never willingly take a human life he understands that sometimes killing is the only viable option in a situation. That being said he’s never actually had to make that choice. While he can be as sarcastic as his father he possesses an optimism that his father does not. He always sees the good and potential in people and this is why he’s been able to survive being in the Queen Household. He believes in serving where he’s needed and as a result has served with the JLA in a capacity in the past. He tends to be the mediator of the Queen Family though the family he has become a part of is currently so broken he fears they’ll never repair. Connor’s lack of experience in the real world (he’s been raised in an ashram his whole life) has resulted in some social awkwardness. He doesn’t know how to drive and is somewhat awkward around women.

Connor is considered to be one of the best martial artists on the planet. He’s the only member of the Arrow Family that can contend with Dinah on a pure hand-to-hand combat level. He has been able to defeat Lady Shiva and Richard Dragon in single-hand combat (individually). Part of the reason why he is so skilled is due to his ability to mimic other people’s moves and predict their actions. He is considered to be the leading master of “Akido” a form of martial arts focused on disarming opponents. Lastly due to years of meditation and being at peace with himself Connor has acquired a zen-like skill that allows him to predict the future while in deep rest and/or meditation. He has a limited healing factor.

Connor is a skilled Kyudo Archer and is proficient with the longbow. He also utilizes trick arrows and ninja stars/throwing knives while on the battlefield. Lastly he tends to carry around two twin promethium blades that he uses for melee combat. He also uses a grapple gun from time to time.

Connor was shot in the head a year ago by Onomatopoeia which resulted in short-term memory and a loss of his archery skill-set. After intense therapy with J’onn J’onnz he has been able to recover his memory and is slowly starting to build his archery skills back up. While he is nearly at Olympic level proficiency he is considered the “weakest” archer in his family due to the injury he received. Also while he has a healing factor he can still be overwhelmed and killed.

Connor is the bastard child of Sandra-Moonday Hawke and Oliver Queen. He was the result of a drunken one night stand and his dad practically fled after he was born. As Connor grew up he moved around a lot and the only comforts he had was the fact that Green Arrow was his father and his grandfather’s ranch. He was always teased for his mixed heritage and finally moved to the Ashram Monastery when he was 13. During this time Connor learned about himself and began to master martial arts and bow skills in hopes of impersonating his father. Connor finally met his father when he was 18. He saved Oliver Queen from death and soon traveled the world with him in hopes of being like his father. Oliver wasn’t aware of their connection until a desperate Hal Jordan/Paralax revealed the truth. Unfortunately, Ollie died before he had a chance to reconcile with his estranged son.
Connor became the new Green Arrow and quickly assimilated with the Arrow Family. He joined the Justice League in order to replace Green Arrow’s vacant position. During this time he became good friends with Timothy Drake AKA Robin and went onto become a key member of one of Batman’s plans to defeat the Injustice Society. Eventually he stepped down from the Justice League and joined the reserves when Ollie returned from the dead. Ollie, Connor and Mia trained on Marshall Islands in order to hone their skills before returning to Star City. During this time Connor served as the secondary Green Arrow while occasionally going on adventures with Eddie Fryers. He wound up getting involved in wacky adventures such as losing his virginity to a ghost, killing a dragon and defeating Richard Dragon in an international underground combat ring.
Connor’s life seemingly changed for the better when Ollie and Dinah were married. He pronounced them a “big happy family” and this is when things spiraled out of control. When Prometheus took over Star City Connor Hawke found himself in the thick of it all. However things went from bad to worse when the city was decimated by a series of bombs and Lian Harper was killed. Oliver Queen wound up killing Prometheus and Connor angrily denied a conversation with his father when the man tracked him down. In the recent months Connor has been helping with the Star City relief effort and has (with Dinah’s blessing) reopened Sherwood Florist but has made it more of a tea-shop/relaxation center than a place that exclusively sells flowers. He has been christened as the new “Green Arrow” of Star City and has not spoken to Roy or Ollie in nearly a year.

[This is an old post of Connor because I do not feel like writing a new one]“Believe it or not, Star City isn’t quite as bad as Gotham.” Connor tied on his mask before he grabbed his quiver and slipped it on his back. Over the past few weeks Connor had realized that it would be necessary to compromise while tacking the streets of Star City. He wasn’t the type of guy to go “easy” on the thugs on the streets but he recognized those who could be redeemed. There had been one particular young man who had stood out. Jay had been a drug dealer and had shot a cop before but it was a life he had been thrust into. Jay was in a situation he had always wanted to escape though he hadn’t known how. Connor had managed to give him the help he needed in exchange for information about the movements of the Mafia and drug dealers of Star City. Tonight would be the last night that he was going to meet with Jay. Connor had the resources necessary to help him get out of Star City once and for all. Connor would also walk away with some vital information that could allow him to hit the drug family in Star City where it hurt.
“This isn’t a villain you’re talking about. Jay is a drug dealer now hear me out me out, he’s either afraid for his life or afraid for his money. I wouldn’t trust him so much. The kid might not be willing to walk away from all that he’s accomplished.” Connor adjusted his mask and turned around, leaning against the kitchen wall as he stared at Eddie. “You might be right and that’s exactly why I don’t trust him. I may be naïve but I’m not stupid.” Connor turned and walked out of the kitchen, heading towards the underground compartment of the mansion that served as the Arrow-Family’s main headquarters. “I’m not saying you are, I’m not saying you’re weak either. Just be careful, kid. I’d hate for you to come back disappointed.” Connor trotted down the stairs, heading towards his motorcycle. He was still getting the hang of the vehicle. “I’ve learned a long time ago to not let my emotions bother me too much. Don’t worry Eddie, I’ll be fine.” He heard the older man sigh as he gave up on the conversation. “You’re a stubborn one.” Connor chuckled.
“Just like my dad?” Connor questioned in a joking tone as he sat down on his motorcycle, tugging his helmet over his head as he did. “You could say that.” Connor nodded and revved up the motorcycle. The vehicle came to life and steadily began to hum underneath him. “I’ll see you later.” Connor said as the motorcycle took off in a roar, whipping up dust in its wake. It didn’t take terribly long for Connor to get to the seedier part of Star City. Yes, he had to take the route in a round-a-bout way so he couldn’t be traced back to Ollie’s Mansion but that didn’t take too long. It wasn’t something Ollie insisted on doing, especially since he really didn’t seem to care about his identity. However, Connor tended to be more cautious than his father. Connor soon found himself on Lincoln Avenue, where he was supposed to meet Jay. The vigilante was sure to hide his motorcycle before he snuck to the warehouse they were supposed to meet at. It wasn’t long before Connor was on the skylight of the warehouse where they had been meeting for the past few weeks.
“Jay?” Connor murmured as he stared along the rooftop. He hadn’t seen any of his thugs nearby and he had the distinct feeling that Jay wasn’t here. The vigilante continued to creep along the roof before he noticed blood on the skylight. The young man kneeled downwards and inhaled with surprise as he saw the sticky, wet substance on the glass. Connor stood immediately, pulling out an arrow as he dove behind an air conditioner unit. He wasn’t sure who had done this and he intended to find out. However, Connor knew enough about mercenaries and the like to know that they weren’t beyond using sniper rifles.
