Selina is cunning, exotic, charming and seductive all in a very mysterious package. The kind of mystery that only helps to accentuate all of the bluntly-stated facets of her personality stated above. Cunning only best describes Selina because she is immensely intelligent (shrewd would work here, too) but in a way that directly connects to her ulterior motives, which makes it 'cunning'. Exotic because she represents the unhindered. Men and women alike see her (when Selina is herself) and know that she does what she wants, when she wants it. She takes what pleases her, discards what doesn't and disregards any opinion that is not her own.
Charming because Selina's tongue is like sweet poisoned honey. She doesn't work hard (indeed, at all) to dazzle someone with her wit, (again unless she needs to) but charming she remains. Seductive on principle. At essence. Catwoman herself personifies sex and forbidden desire. Not to be abused, but respected. So Selina can - by default - stir in most any man some of their darkest urges and make them suffer for it.
Thus, Selina is so far explained as a strong, unshakable woman who gets what she wants. That might be the case in many areas, but even Catwoman is only too human. Selina struggles (though she might make it look purposeful) daily with the line, or lack thereof, that she walks. Shades of grey her life may be, but Selina couldn't live with herself if she knowingly took another human being's life. Because... really, in her heart of hearts Catwoman is not a bad person.
She may steal and manipulate and scheme but she would just as readily save an innocent's life if the need arose. Selina has overcome such hardship that she can now be called a solid, steely character. That hardship still haunts her to this day, though. Catwoman still wakes up in cold sweats or in tears about the horrors of her life that she might have vanquished externally but can now only suppress inside. So perhaps 'complicate' best befits Selina Kyle and her persona; Catwoman.

Cat-like Speed- Selina doesn't posses speed that is on super-human levels, she is easily the fastest non-meta.
Peak Athletic Condition- Selina is a gifted and accomplished athlete, with heightened acrobatic prowess. Her feats have been so amazing, one could argue that her athletic ability is somewhat superhuman.
Feline Empathy- Catwoman has a strange affinity to cats. Any creature possessing a majority of feline relation generally takes a liking to her. Selina can render hostile cats entirely docile in a few cooing words. At times, felines have even attacked on her behalf if she is unable.
Expert Combatant- Selina has trained under various masters of various arts and henceforth 'mastered' those fighting styles herself. Combined with her cat-like speed, reflexes, coordination, agility and sense of balance, Catwoman fights in a way unlike any other. She has fought Batman to a standstill and often defeated him.
Stealth- Catwoman possesses stealth of unsurpassed levels. She is an expert at high- and low-tech thefts and is arguably the world's greatest thief.
Disguise- Selina is a master of disguise.

Costume- The skintight costume features retractable razor-sharp claws in her gloves and spring-action climbing pitons in her boots. Catwoman's costume is designed to give her maximum flexibility and movement while providing her some protection, anonymity, and stealth. Her mask covers her features, keeping her from instant recognition in her civilian identity. The material is a thick insulating cloth, protecting her from cold and wet, while being fire retardant. It provides little damage protection from weapons or blows however does provide good protection from energy damage.
Claws- Catwoman's gloves and boots contain special retractable claws which are formed of a strong steel which extend from and retract into her gloved fingertips and boots when she triggers pressure switches. They can shred a bullet-proof vest, punch through an aluminum frame car door, or dig into porous surfaces to climb.
Whip- Catwoman is highly proficient in the use of the bull whip. She employs a 12 foot long, black leather braided bull whip which is normally carried on her person either in her boot or in a small backpack.

Regardless of physical attributes, and prowess in the application of stealth, Selina Kyle is still a mortal woman, possessing all the frailties therein. The subject's greatest weakness is in her solidarity, however, often forcing the Catwoman to make inconstant allies to maintain her safety.

Selina Kyle lived a tragic and troubled childhood which landed her in an orphanage in the East Side of Gotham City. She quickly honed her skills as a thief, constantly escaping the orphanage only to be brought back. Eventually she outgrew the system and became her own woman, still with the urge to steal anything remotely shiny.
Selina saw the horrible state of the East End and put on the leather costume, becoming Catwoman, to steal priceless artifacts and give a good portion of her profit to various establishments to help better the East End. Catwoman eventually met incredible renown and began an on-again off-again relationship with Bruce Wayne as Selina Kyle, and a flirtatious attraction to Batman as Catwoman.
Over the years Catwoman has carved quite a name for herself. Her relationship with Batman constantly changing, making her an occasional enemy of the dark knight and a sometimes hero. She's grown close enough to the other vigilantes in Gotham to be considered among their family, and was Bruce revealed his secret identity to Selina during Hush's debut.
Selina's went through many trials during her time as Catwoman. She's had a daughter who she willingly gave up for adoption to keep her safe, grown exceedingly close to Batman only to have his death shock her to the core, and even had her own heart torn from her chest by Thomas Elliot himself - an ordeal she only survived by a convening of the best minds and powers of the super hero community, including Doctor Mid-Nite and Zatanna.
Recently, Catwoman joined forces with fellow vixens Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy to start what was christened the 'Gotham City Sirens', living, working and fighting alongside the two other villainesses as fellow victims of circumstance. With Dick Grayson - former Nightwing - taking Bruce's cowl and identity as Batman, Selina had become distant, but not estranged entirely from the Wayne family. Her tenure on the Sirens was short-lived, as it was destined to be, though, and the three women have since parted ways.
With Bruce returning from the dead, Catwoman and Selina both are at a crossroads in their life. Standing on a precipice between the promise of what could be, and the face of what is.

Several things bounced in quick succession through Catwoman's mind as she surveyed the prickly situations she now found herself in. The initial thought was, Who the hell are these guys? Selina resigned almost at once to leave the answer up for further investigation. It wasn't like she had many friends in Gotham or beyond. There could be a hundred different reasons that a group of armed men were now circling her. Catwoman then thought of the threat that they posed.
In laments terms: could she take them all on without risking her whiskers?
Catwoman looked at the masks that they wore, their equipment, but primarily the air that they carried with them. Her fur stood on end. These weren't your usual brutes. Selina could tell. They were synchronized, agile, and the majority of their weapons weren't firearms. Thugs in Gotham didn't feel cocky unless they had a gun. Definitely not cocky enough to take on the Cat. Not your average, run-of-the-mill attackers, then.
The feline felon's eyes continued to roll around the circle of men as they slowly closed in on her, one painstaking step at a time. Their motions were personalized and gruff enough that Catwoman didn't think they were in with the League of Assassins, or something similar. Regardless, Selina got a feeling that this wouldn't be easy if she stood her ground. How about we just scamper off, then?
Another quick survey - masked perfectly behind her casual, sultry allure - and her odds seemed less likely. Though only a few had guns on them, she was surrounded. Catwoman wasn't sure how well she'd be able to dodge an onslaught of bullets. It wouldn't be impossible, but should she take the chance? Typical, Selina thought as she weighed her options. She couldn't have a single night that was uneventful, could she? They were closer now. Damn.
"Now, now," she scorned, "there are so many of you, and only one, little ole me." Catwoman's voice turned into an innocent purr, her lips puckered to complete the look, her shoulders gave a delicate shrug. I can take them, Selina thought stubbornly. She had determined their strength on subtleties, but those weren't always the case. What if they were a bunch of push-overs? She could always try to high-tail it if things turned for the worse in the midst of things.
She'd fought more at once, alone, before.
Something caught her attention out of the corner of her goggles. About damn time, Selina thought with a rush of relief that she resented. "Never mind." Catwoman's grin caused several of the men to tense warily, and two before her to even look towards one another. She took that opening. Selina lunged forward with a vicious blow across the left's jaw, just as Batman made his shadowy debut behind her.
Catwoman's leg came up behind her in a powerful roundhouse to the right's chest that winded him. Selina's risen leg swept down, and knocked one leg out of the one she'd hit first. Even as he fell, Catwoman's knee came crushing into his nose. One down. The man behind her had regained composure enough to raise his gun. Mistake, she thought. Selina sprang on him, and in one fluid motion disarmed him, and dislocated his right shoulder.
The gun? Catwoman whipped across an approaching opponent's face, unloaded it, chucked it at a fourth, and, twirling backwards through the air, gained momentum that she powered into an outstretched leg that collided with the brute with the dislocated shoulder. Two down. Not bad for fifteen seconds.
