Players: Cheshire, Static Location(s): New York City Plot Summary: Cheshire is in the middle of a very delicate situation involving the League of Shadows. Static is unlucky and finds himself at the wrong place at the wrong time. Cheshire took a deep breath. Every city had a different feel to it, and even with her eyes closed, the distinct NYC atmosphere engulfed her. It was eleven o'clock at night according to her cell phone; her internal clock said otherwise. She spent all last week in India so it felt closer to eight in the morning in her head. Still, she felt alert and strong despite her relaxed muscles as she sat in the lotus position. The roof of the luxury apartment building actually had its own private garden (most likely belonging to the owner of the top floor suite), and for now, Jade basked in the tranquility. Well kept shrubs, swept garden paths, small running fountain. It was peaceful, if not for the shadowed figure crouched by the statue at the edge of the roof. She opened her eyes and looked forward. Shadows rarely traveled alone. "Speak," Jade demanded. The shadowed figure stepped onto the roof and walked until he was directly in her eye line. He was wrapped in black cloth from head to toe with only an inch high sliver to see from. It did not take introductions to know who he was associated with. "Ra's al Ghul requests a meeting. He wants to know why you've backed out of the deal." There were several paths to take from here, all of which would result in further problems; not a single one existed that made this simple. Her pride wouldn't allow it anyway. "You can tell him I agreed to work for him, not his daughter. Whenever he decides to be back in power, have him send one of his lesser agents to deliver the message. That job would be well suited for you now that you've had the experience." The League agent's hand curled into a fist. "Your lack of respect is disgusting." Jade straightened her legs and stood up. "Cry about it."The other shadowed agents revealed themselves by stepping forward into the light. Jade suspected he hadn't come alone, but she was surprised to see so many of them were present. Up to this point, she hadn't fought this many agents herself, and their very presence made her realize something else. "Talia, if you're listening, the next time you want to kill me, do it yourself." Jade's fingers trembled over her kunai knives strapped to her thigh as she anticipated the first attack of the League of Shadows. What she didn't expect was the surprise that fell from above and in the middle of what was going to be a ninja bloodbath.

Virgil wasn’t entirely sure what was up with New York City and its villains but they brought a whole new meaning to the word “tacky”. “There’s “lame” and then there are New York City villains.” Virgil wisecracked as he exchanged blows with Killer Frost. They were standing on the top of an apartment building while both were attempting to gain the upper hand. A duffel bag was slung around Static’s shoulder that held enough cash to buy a luxury sports car. The cash was packed tightly and was seriously impeding on his ability to fight but he needed to keep it on him. He had barely managed to snag the duffel bag from Killer Frost while she had been making an attempt to escape a bank. Somehow they had wound up on this apartment building and Virgil was working hard to take Killer Frost down before she froze him to death. This apartment building was as good as any a place to square off and as a result they both had an unspoken agreement to keep their fight here.
“Watch you call lame, Sparky!” Killer Frost unleashed a blast of frozen ice at Virgil and he wasn’t able to dodge it in time. The concussive force of the blast threw him off of the building and he fell. He heard the sound of Killer Frost cackling and slowly came to realize that the ice had expanded over his body! Virgil was effectively covered in an icy cast and while he could escape it was somewhat difficult to do so while he was plummeting to his death. He looked up at the edge of the roof as he fell to take notice of Killer Frost gleefully giving him the finger. Vigil didn’t really get a chance to react because he soon crashed into the middle of a terrace. Ironically the icy cast kept him from breaking every bone in his body. Instead the ice shattered around him and Virgil let out a groan as he sat up. His muscles were sore and cold but he supposed he could be grateful that it wasn’t worse.
Virgil heard Killer Croc’s cackling. “Just wait till I-what?” He glanced around as he stood to his feet and realized that he was in a dire situation. Two ninjas moved towards Virgil in a silently deadly kata and attacked him at the same time. Their synchronized movements were dangerous but predictable. Virgil was able to avoid the slash of one man’s blade but was only able to partially avoid the slash of the other’s. The second man’s blade found its target at Virgil’s shoulder. The blade slashed through skin and red hot pain flashed across Virgil’s body. “Argh!” Virgil’s eyes grew alit with energy as his defense mechanisms kicked in. He raised his hand and touched the first ninja on the test. Electricity arced from his open palm and sent the ninja spiraling into the wall. Virgil turned towards the ninja who had slashed his shoulder and executed a taser punch that floored him. “Looks like I crashed the wrong party.” Virgil gritted his teeth in pain but made a conscious decision to keep the banter going.
“Or maybe it’s the other way around.” He said as he noted the shadowy figures were somewhat hesitant in attacking him.

Distraction; advantage, Cheshire. The four kunais were pulled from the strap on her leg and thrown forward to the advancing League members. They jumped out of the way and over the obstacles in their path. Cheshire and no one else was their target, despite the change of plans. She on the other hand, had every intention of bringing the fight to the vigilante that decided to fall into the wrong place at the wrong time. Annoying voice, tacky clothing, and sparks. It was Static, an electricity based bleeding heart. She would have loved nothing more than to stab him in the neck with her particular set of nails, but it would have to wait while she fended off the League. Up above, Killer Frost looked down at the swarm of ninjas and shrugged them off. She didn't want to get involved, and Static certainly wasn't worth getting in any more trouble. She too took advantage of the distraction and left as quietly as she could.
It was still unclear whether the League of Shadows wanted to kill Cheshire, abduct her and take her to Ra's, or worse, to Talia. Hell, she didn't even know if Talia was behind this; Jade just assumed the daughter of Ra's was flexing her undeserved powers as his heir. In the end, the only thing clear was the League wanted to attack her and that wasn't going to happen, not without a fight anyway.
The first League member pounced from her left. A wide kick swept by her head, but Jade ducked down and swung her leg by his feet. He jumped just as a katana from another member came racing to her. Her twin sais met with the blade and pushed him down to lose his momentum. The previous assassin struck Jade square in the jaw with his knee, forcing her to fall backward, but she rolled to the side to give herself some room. It seemed whenever she was able to rid herself of one person, another one was just seconds away to take his place. Change of strategy. Jade jumped up onto a statue of a sleeping lion (the entire garden had tacky decor in her opinion) and subsequently onto the next three sleeping animal statues until she was standing behind Static. "Hello," she grinned with blood staining the corner of her mouth from the kick. "That was so sweet of you to come to my aid." Jade threw another set of kunais to the oncoming ninjas. "If you do good, I promise you a kiss," she smiled.

“I thought ninjas were cool but it turns out that you guys are just assholes!” Virgil was now bleeding from three or four different parts of his body. He had lost count after he had been slashed on the cheek. None of the wounds were particularly life threatening on their own. Yet if you added them all together not only did they threaten his livelihood but they also significantly hampered his movement. Shallow cuts were also painful. The slightest moment resulted in Virgil feeling a tear in his skin and experiencing even more pain. Now that he was on the receiving end of a ninja attack he could see why Tim hadn’t been too fond of them. It was almost as if these guys were toying with him. Virgil was pretty sure that if he kept fighting the way he was he’d eventually drop dead from dozens of microcuts covering his body. That was most definitely not the way he wanted to go.
“Enough is enough!” Three ninjas flipped, hopped and skipped across the terrace straight at him. Virgil raised his hands and summoned his magnetic powers. Once he had a good grasp of the weapons that they possessed he used it against them. Their katanas were incased in static electricity and with one hand motion Virgil pulled the weapons high into the air. Since the ninjas were attached to the weapons they flew through the air too! He was careful not to throw them too high but he was also careful to throw them high enough so they’d all be looking at some mild concussions when they gained consciousness again. The ninjas flew high into the air and then fell against the ground. Three bodies made a “thud” sound against the ground. Virgil then spun around to address the ninja right behind him. It hadn’t taken him long to figure out their strategy. He would be attacked en masse while the stealthy one would sneak up behind him. That trick wasn’t going to work again.
“It took me a few minutes and a couple of stab wounds but you guys are pretty predictable.” Virgil swung around and executed a mean cross punch charged with electricity. The punch sent the man sailing into some bushes. The ninja twitched a few moments as electricity ran along his clothing before he passed out. Virgil turned around to see that he was at least a dozen ninjas. He backed up slowly and soon bumped against a tacky tiger statue he had bounced off of during his initial fall. “Wait…where’s the lady you were attacking in the first place?” Virgil questioned angrily. He could probably light the whole place up with electricity but he had a feeling that most of the ninjas would be skilled enough to figure out what was going on and then dodge his attack. Then he’d be too weak to put up a fight. Then he heard a voice whisper in his ear and turned around to see the ninja’s target unleashing bladed weapons on her opponents.
“Look lady, I just want to go home to the comfort of my bed and maybe the hospital. I’m not in the mood to make all-“ A blade flew through the air and thudded into the tiger’s mouth. Right next to Virgil’s head. “I take high you take low.”

"Deal," Cheshire answered. Contrary to popular belief, Jade liked teaming up with others. They made great human shields. It did concern her though that Static was not capable to defend himself for long against the League of Shadows. He, like most of his kind, never killed. If there was any team out there that needed to be killed, it was the League (and that coming from someone that often worked with them). They were far too dangerous to keep in power. The longer they remained active, the more resources they gathered and the greater their disdain for modern society grew. If she could kill them herself she would, but certainly not for society's sake.
Cheshire pounced. She propelled off the shoulders of the nearest League member and flipped over him and onto another ninja, knocking him down. With the full force of the jump, she dug her sharpened poisoned nails into his neck. She didn't have the chance to check if it was effective (with League members, you can never count on murder attempts; they always seem to cheat death much like their leader). She rolled off him and slashed at the chins of two other ninjas. They too had sais on them, bringing the fight in close. They swung and thrusted their blades at Jade at the same time, putting her at a disadvantage. The three of their arms and legs twisted and spun between each other, avoiding cuts and strikes at a cat-like speed. She couldn't stab, and they couldn't stab her. After a minute or two at this pace, it was making her a target for the others. Jade realized the only way to get out from their trap was to make a break for it and risk a hit.
She got exactly what she expected. As she jumped out of the labyrinth of blades, one sliced through her, piercing her hip. She made no indication of the hit other than the bite to her bottom lip. Jade glanced quickly at her partner for the night to see that the ninjas attacking him were each still alive. "Aren't you useful for anything?!" she barked at him. Advantage? Advantage? she thought to herself, only briefly reevaluating her surrounding. Jade rolled and kept rolling to keep from being pierced by the barrage of shuriken thrown at her. She made it behind a thick concrete statues of a tiger. By her feet, the sprinkler was trickling with water. It had a thin pipe run at its base along the grass to a panel nearby. Jade made a run for the panel and once there, opened it and set off all the sprinklers. A shuriken struck her left and as she ran again to make a break for the ledge. The water from all the sprinklers burst out, wetting the League members. She just hoped that Static was going to take the hint.

It wasn’t that Static was incompetent. It was that he was surrounded by men who had been trained to kill since a young age. Then again Static was born and raised in the hood so he knew a thing or two about avoiding crazed people with knives. He couldn’t say the same for crazed people with swords though. Yet that wasn’t really what bothered him. What bothered him was teaming up with a murderer. He was fairly certain that this woman deserved what was coming to her. She looked dangerous and she looked like she couldn’t be trusted. He wasn’t trying to get himself killed tonight and it looked like he’d have to be watching his back if he got out of this situation. He didn’t want anyone tracking him to his dorm room or figuring out his secret identity. This meant that he’d probably have to hide out in Brooklyn for a day or two. If the woman in green didn’t stab him in the back before the night was over.
As Virgil said he’d take high. Whatever that meant. Ninjas again surrounded Static and he decided that this fight really wasn’t worth it. The idea of escaping crossed his mind but he wasn’t comfortable with the idea of ninjas and an assassin duking it out in New York City. Yet was it worth getting killed over? Virgil spun on his heel and tackled the first ninja he saw around the waist and used the element of surprise to knock him down. His move had been so amateur and foolish that the ninja clearly hadn’t seen it coming. Yet the assassin was able to gain the upper hand in a fraction of a second and soon Virgl was on his back. The ninja raised his blade and was about to stab Virgil through the throat when Virgil reached up and grabbed the ninja’s shoulder. He pumped the ninja full of electricity and then pushed him off. He stood to his feet and was satisfied that he had been able to break out of the tight circle of ninjas he had been surrounded by. Now that he was free it was time to do some real damage.
Virgil gestured at a water hose he had seen earlier and managed to grab hold of the metallic hose head with his powers. The yellow hose head was encased in yellow energy and sailed across the garden and into Virgil’s hand. He grabbed it and waited patiently as three ninjas rushed towards him with their blades in hand. Virgil steeled himself as he waited for the first man to strike. Soon one of the killers was slashing down at Virgil and that’s when he retaliated. Virgil magnetized the blade and the weapon was tugged out of his hand and smacked against the blade of the second ninja rushing at him. The two assassins were disarmed and as the third was forced to pick up the slack but by then Virgil had executed his plan. He ducked under the third man’s slash and then pulled the hose around his waist. He then again called on his powers to magnetize metal and used the hose to wrap around the three ninja’s waists so tightly that they were unable to move. The hose finally snapped against the sheathed sai of the third ninja.
Good enough.
When the assassin’s voice rang clear through the garden about Virgil’s lack of effectiveness he was again sorely tempted to abandon her. His shoulder was throbbing and he had received a glancing blow to his ribs. He was almost certain that he had a bruised rib. He decided not to fall for her taunt and as the water sprang across the garden he decided not to fall for that either. An electrical shock like that could kill quite a few people and he simply could not risk it. He didn’t kill. “Dat’s not how I do things!” He yelled as he sprinted after her. As he sprinted towards the ledge as well he decided that he could at least cause a diversion. He turned around and raised his hands in the air. He called upon his powers and generated a blast of light three times brighter than the sun. It lasted for exactly two seconds but it managed to temporarily blind those pursuing them. With that he turned and jumped off the ledge. As he did a lone shuriken embedded itself in his right leg. Virgil let out a grunt of pain but he still managed to make the jump and landed on the roof across from the garden. He sighed in relief and exhaustion before he looked around for his violent companion.

Across the rooftops, she rolled as she landed on the next building with the huge flash of light going off behind her. She turned quickly to see the source of the brilliant light and fortunately, (and just in time) she missed it. It didn't take her long to realize it had been none other than her partner for the night who bought them some time. Static appeared as injured as she if not worse (Jade didn't care enough to examine him to make sure of that). As the League members tried to regain their vision, Cheshire used the opportunity for some much needed aid. She grabbed the shuriken from her side and yanked it out without a moment's hesitation. She gritted her teeth and slid the weapon under the strap on her arm for future use. Quickly, she glanced at Static to see another shuriken, this one jutting out of his leg. Without warning to him, she grabbed it and pulled it out as well. Cheshire then quickly stabbed him near his knee with the claw on her left pinky finger. "Don't worry. It's an antidote. Most of the League weapons are poisoned," she said before having to bear with any annoying complaints from him. "Consider that my thanks for not getting me killed so far," Jade said, limping further away from the ledge, irritation dripping off every word. "Although you'd have been a lot more helpful had you just killed them already," she muttered.
With the second shuriken stowed away, she removed her headband and used it to stop the bleeding on her side. Her focus, never truly leaving the League members on the opposite roof, shifted on an escape. Not only did she need to abandon Static to get away from the ninjas after her, the low but obvious helicopter rotor sound above was an indication things were about to become worse. The light from the helicopter suddenly turned on and shone down on them both. Over a megaphone, a voice came through and as clenched as Jade's jaw was before, now her teeth were actually grinding together. "Kill you myself, Cheshire? With pleasure," Talia al Ghul said. Ra's daughter opened the door of the helicopter and stood there holding a bazooka on her shoulder. It was pointed straight down at Jade and Static. Cheshire couldn't think to do anything other than run at that moment. The light from the helicopter was blinding her from striking Talia with a weapon and even if she could, she imagined the pilot was equipped with guns to ensure that Jade wasn't going to walk away from this night alive. And Static coming to the rescue didn't even cross her mind. Seeing him so hesitant to take a life made him unreliable in her eyes. All she could try now was run.
Without even a chance to escape, Talia fired the bazooka. At that very moment, Killer Frost returned. She used her ice powers to create a slide that sloped down and right back up into the shape of a U, forcing the fired rocket to travel right over Cheshire and Static's head and out into the sky, exploding several yards away. "You know what I realized?" Frost yelled down to Static. "You think these damn ninjas are better than me. You think they're a bigger threat. Otherwise you would have chased after me and not stayed here to fight them," she growled. "You don't know who you're dealing with, you little snot! I can kill you in the blink of an eye. It's not them you should be worried about. It's me!" Cheshire blinked.

As Virgil lay on the roof the idea of looking for Cheshire became less and less appealing. The pain in his leg was slowly ebbing away and he was starting to feel warm all over his body. In the back of his mind he knew this was a bad thing but right now all he really wanted to do was go to sleep. This had not been a good night for him and he was covered in enough scrapes and bruises to make him reconsider being a crime fighting super hero. He hadn’t imagined that he’d spend his night working with a dangerous killer. He wasn’t entirely sure who this woman was but everything about her screamed danger. Yet all these thoughts didn’t matter to him and just when he was about to give up on life in general he felt a the shuriken get plucked out of the back of his knee. He grunted as if the woman was waking him up from a pleasant slumber. Then he felt something get jabbed right into his knee next to the wound.
For a moment he felt as if his leg was icy cold. Then Virgil gasped for air and opened his eyes as he felt the warmth suddenly flee from his body and all the pains and bruises throb back into existence. Virgil sat up and rubbed the back of his neck. He then rubbed his right leg as he suddenly felt panic over what the woman had done to him. Once she spoke Virgil decided that he mine as well take her word for it. He was fairly certain that he’d wind up dead either way tonight. “Thanks.” He pushed himself to his feet. He frowned at the woman’s next statement but decided not to respond. He turned and glanced at the roof. It looked like the ninjas had retreated for now. Maybe they hadn’t expected to run into a metahuman. “You need t-” The sound of a helicopter beating turned Virgil’s attentions to the heavens and he soon found himself staring at a crazed woman with a bazooka.
“You gotta be kiddin me…” Virgil’s eyes grew a sudden bright blue as electricity began to run across his hands. This was getting ridiculous. He had a stab wound in his shoulder, leg and he was sore all over. He hadn’t endured all of that to get blown to hell by a bazooka! The helicopter was hovering low enough to be in range for a well-sized EMP blast. If the pilot was skilled enough he would be able to navigate the plan for a relative safe landing. If he wasn’t? Well that was too bad. Virgil wasn’t sacrificing his life to preserve the well-being of someone trying to murder him so extravagantly. Talia fired the bazooka and as she did Virgil was frantically creating a static shield that could redirect the weapon. That’s when the totally unexpected happened. And by unexpected Virgil found himself facing off Killer Frost again. Virgil watched as the missile exploded in the distance and then returned his attention to Killer Frost.
“Don’t you have better things to do with your time?” He questioned as he raised his hand and fired a blast of electricity at the cockpit of the helicopter. That was the biggest problem to him right now. He’d take ice shards to bullets any day. At this point he wasn’t surprised by anything at this point. He couldn’t see this night getting any wackier. All he could really do was take everything in stride.

So...Killer Frost was suffering from a version of a Napoleon Complex. Talia al Ghul had a personal vendetta against Cheshire, as did the League of Shadows. Not to mention there was still Static who, despite their temporary partnership, was still her enemy. Jade found herself in a bit of a predicament, but at the same time, everything was working out to her advantage. Talia's helicopter was currently spiraling out of control, buying her time from the blood thirsty fangs of that privileged terrorist princess. The League of Shadows were ordered to pull back (she assumed only due to their lack of response thus far; most likely for Talia's sake at Ra's orders). And Killer Frost wasn't at all concerned with the emerald ninja. Now was the perfect chance to escape.
But even as the helicopter was going down, she could see Talia readying herself and her bazooka to jump off and go after Jade on foot. Going head to head with her wasn't a fear, (Jade would kill her without a single regret) but that bazooka was a serious disadvantage; a one on one at the moment was out of the question. She had only a few seconds for Talia to steady herself and jump out of the helicopter and meet her on the roof. Now how to stop her and get away in time...
"So you're the idiot he scared off?" Cheshire chimed in. Killer Frost, with her usual ice blue complexion, was turning red. "His words, not mine," she shrugged. "He said you couldn't handle him face to face. That's why you ran away like a dog." Killer Frost flew down to stand between them, not more than six feet away from Static. "Is that so?!" she raised her hand as it circled with snow and ice. At that moment, Talia jumped from the helicopter and onto the roof where the three of them stood. In her hand propped on her shoulder was the bazooka aimed directly for Jade. In a blink of an eye, Cheshire lunged for Killer Frost from behind and dug her poison-tipped nails into the ice queen's neck. With her other hand, she grabbed Frost's hand, the one about to fire at Static, and aimed it in Talia's direction. She was so taken aback by the attack she lost control of her powers and ice shot out of her hand even without her willing it to do so. The bazooka fired its missile but was stopped twenty feet from Talia as she and it were frozen in Killer Frost's huge ice block.
Cheshire released her grip of Frost's neck and dropped her. The missile suspended in the ice blink blink blinked until it went off and blew up. Jade was already running away from it and jumped off the apartment building and into the alley below, barely escaping the monstrously loud and violent explosion. She rolled away from the falling debris and flames until she was at the very end of the alley, safe from harm.

Virgil watched the tense stand off quietly. He wasn't entirely sure what to do. His blast at the cockpit had forced the helicopter to fly off but now "Talia" was on the roof with them. The idea of cracking wise did reach his mind but the tension on this roof was palpable. There was a master assassin, a dangerous villian and a woman who seemed to be a member of the Illuminati. Up until tonight Virgil hadn't been aware of the League of Assassins. He had known that underground organizations that tried to influence the world existed ever since he had discovered Shadow Cabinet. Yet he hadn't put much thought into it. Now there was even more than he had thought. This made him wonder if the existence of super secret organizations rendered their very purpose obsolete.
"I'm all for empowered women but how about we all calm d-down." Virgil blinked a bit and then swayed on his feet. He wasn't feeling too great. He charged his blood stream with more static electricity in an attempt to compensate. He could hold off his body from any poisons or diseases as long as he kept enough static eletricity floating around with his white cells to keep the toxins at bay. He was starting to realize that Cheshire had probably poisoned him. Either that or she hadn't healed him. This wasn't a pleasant feeling and Virgil was starting to think that this situation would end very badly for him. Yet he charged up his hands with more electricity and resolved to see this situation through.
It all happened so fast. One moment Virgil was standing there. The next he was looking at a missile in an ice berg. The next he was flying backwards off of the building and crashing against a fire escape. He continued to fall and barely managed to stop himself with his electrical powers. He landed on the sidewalk and glanced upwards just in time to notice and saw Cheshire running out of an alley. "Stop!" He made to run after but instead tripped and fell. He realized that it wasn't becuase he was clumsy. It was because his body simply couldn't handle the poison in his blood stream. Virgil groaned as he slowly raised his hand and with some effort released a blast of electricity at Cheshire's back before he passed out, unconscious.

Cheshire rose up from the ashes of the explosion. It was probably not a wise thing to try and blow up the daughter and second in command of the League of Shadows, but Talia started it...sorta. Either way Killer Frost was no longer a problem, the ninjas were gone, and Talia had her own health to be concerned with. That left Static. She walked carefully across the alley, avoiding any shards of glass or pointed rocks along the wet floor as she searched for his body. Maybe he flew away? Maybe she could leave without concerns of being followed? Maybe he--
She spotted him on the sidewalk. They made eye contact for a second before he passed out entirely. From the looks over it, it was not from injuries from the explosion. It was the poison she gave him. It was to ensure she could make her escape in the end, and now she had what she wanted. Sirens were nearing. A homeless man popped his head out from his cardboard home, amazingly escaping the fallen debris to live another drunk day. He waddled up next to her as she stood over Static. "Explosion got 'im?" the inebriated man asked. She could leave him here to die. Jade didn't have to do anything but walk away. But she hated to think what would have happened if Static hadn't showed up. Hell, just attracting Killer Frost back to the rooftop was enough help she needed to get away. And that was due to Static.
Rolling her eyes, she grabbed a thin dart attached to her wrist and used it to stab him in the back of the neck. The drunk man gasped and looked at her bewildered. "Wha you do tha for? He dead already." Cheshire leaned down and rummaged through Static's pockets. The drunk man shook his head so much he wobbled from imbalance. She pulled out money when she felt it and held it out for the smelly man. "Wait here for the ambulance. Tell them he's poisoned otherwise they might treat him for something else then he will die." He reached for the money but she pulled it back before standing up once again. "If you don't do what I've asked, I'll kill your dog." Knowing him, that pregnant dog still huddled in his cardboard home was the only thing he cared about (even more than his own life). He nodded rapidly just as the sirens reached the street. She shoved the money into his chest and ran back into the alley to disappear in the shadows. The homeless man tucked the money in his pocket and waved his arms for the attention of the ambulance. The firetrucks started to put out the fires and police tried to clear the area. When the ambulance approached, the homeland followed them until they reached Static. "H-he poisoned! I saw it! Look, look!" he pointed to the dart still sticking out of his neck. "Who poisoned him?" one of the paramedic asked. "Some crazy dog that wans to kill my bitch!"
[End!]
