Players: Batman and Flash Location(s): Closed High School in Keystone City Plot Summary: The Flash Rogues have been kidnapped by a man wearing purple armor very similar to that of the deceased Prometheus. Dick and Wally attempt to rescue the Flash Rogues and figure out what's going on.
Wally was the only person that Dick knew who had legitimate sympathy for his enemies. The Flash Rogues were a superstitious and cowardly lot yet they had managed to create their own criminal empire that reviled the mafia in Gotham. Unlike The Joker and a variety of other villains on the East Coast the Flash Rogues had an honor code. They still murdered and stole but they didn’t kill women or children and discouraged drug use on their turf. Dick respected that but when it came down to it a criminal was still a criminal. So when Wally had approached Dick about rescuing the Flash Rogues he had been more than a little surprised. His run in with Captain Cold, Heatwave and Mirror Master had been less than pleasant. He wasn’t in any mood to repeat the experience. Yet Wally had come to him for help and he was his friend. So Dick had reluctantly said yes.
The Flash Rogues had been attempting to rob an armored car and during that time Wally had been on the Watchtower. By the time he had heard about it someone else had handled the situation. A man wearing the armor of Prometheus had showed up out of seemingly nowhere and had taken out each and every one of them with little trouble. All that was left was the armored truck and the money the Rogues had tried to steal. Dick hadn’t cared. If some villains vanished off the face of the Earth than they weren’t his problem anymore. Yet Wally with his bleeding heart and compassion had roped him into helping recover them. Dick had to admit that he’d rather know where the Rogues were then not know. As a result they were both teaming up to do a good ol’ hostage rescue. Just like the old days. Dick had to admit that working with Wally and Wally alone was a good way to spend his evening.
The most puzzling part of this problem was that Prometheus was supposed to be dead. Mimicking his armor wouldn’t be difficult but mimicking the man’s style would be. Dick had managed to find footage of how Promtheus had taken everyone down and he fought exactly like the man who had been murdered by Oliver Queen. Something was up. Dick’s compassion for rescuing the Rogues was limited yet his curiosity on the reemergence of the purple villain made up for it. “I’m surprised it was this easy to find him.” They stood in the sewers underneath an abandoned school that was due to be demolished next week. Keystone City was the Blue Collar capital of the nation so they were definitely on top of things when it came to construction. Yet this particular high school had been open just enough for Prometheus to set up base.
He had simply tracked the radio frequency that Prometheus had been using to scramble the police’s efforts to coordinate on his location during his escape. The very man’s attempts to hide from the law enforcement had allowed a much more efficient team to take him down. “You understand the concept of stealth, right?” Dick joked as he took his blowtorch to the damp floor on top of him. The school was closed due to strong rot and as a result getting in from the sewers had been the stealthiest and most efficient option. The small portion of the floor fell through. “Remember. We need to be as quiet as possible. I managed to cut off his security sensors but I don’t know what else he may have rigged the place with.” Dick hoisted himself up through the hole in the roof and found himself standing in a bathroom stall. He stepped into the main bathroom and stood there as he waited for Wally to come up as well.

Okay, so this was probably the weirdest request he had ever made. No, as a hero it was the weirdest. What true hero in their right mind wanted the bad guys safe? What hero would go to such lengths to rescue those bad guys? This hero. The Flash was perhaps the only hero ever to feel for his Rogues.
Hey, when they weren't being murderous, robbing crooks, they were good guys. Deep down, they really had a heart. They loved, they cared. Even in the hero community one was hard pressed to find a team that stuck together for years. A bunch of villains had lasted through different men as the Flash and still they remained true to each other in a sense. They watched out for each other.
Hell, he knew they would keep an eye on him even if it was just so they could have the last laugh instead of someone else. Well, that was if Hartley let them get that far. Hartley was a former Rogue and one of his best friends. Vaguely, he worried that the other red head was caught up with the others. He couldn't be sure though. Hartley had reformed and he wouldn't be caught stealing, not that he needed to. If, what looked to be, Prometheus just grabbed and ran, he would say no, the Piper was safe.
What if Prometheus purposely hunted them all down?
Finding his Rogues was a big reason why he had called on one of the most tech savvy people he knew. Even if Dick couldn't help him directly the entire time, he had connections. Batman was always up on the latest gadgets and toys. Death has a tendency of making you stupid, I guess, He replied with a shrug. It wasn't really an excuse for such recklessness, but hey, he wasn't here to defend Prometheus's idiocy.
He was here to save his Rogues and pick on the new Batman. At least this one could take a joke. Stealth. That's where you don't walk around in a noisy cape and let large chucks of floor clang around in a metal pipe, right? The speedster asked innocently. He gave Dick a small smile. Guess you normal people have to do it the hard way.
Waiting a minute as Dick climbed up, Wally frowned at the sewer. While a good way in for them, it didn't seem like it was much used by anyone else. The crews that were going to take the building down hadn't even gotten in here yet. Why was the supposed Prometheus being so blatant? Something was off and was starting to really worry for their safety on top of the Rogues.
Climbing up, his frown deepened at the stall. If you needed to pee, you could'a said something, The speedster hissed, moving into the rest of the bathroom. He gave the caped crusader a wink and headed toward the door. His steps were careful, knowing that the floor might not be too sturdy. He also didn't want to cause too much noise regardless of what disruptions Dick had caused in the systems here. Which way? He asked as he got to the door. There were plenty of rooms to set up shop in.
